DEPARTMENTS
ASSESSOR
The County Assessor is appointed by the County Board, and is responsible for classification and assessment of real estate in McLeod County, under guidance of Minnesota Department of Revenue. The Assessor's Office is located in the McLeod County Government Center in Glencoe.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
County Economic Development works with the entities and local economic groups of McLeod County to support local growth and sustainability under the direction of the County Board, and the Economic Development Committee. They are located in County Administration.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Environmental Services provides Planning, Zoning, Solid Waste, and Household Hazardous Waste. Environmental Services includes enforcement of land use, ordinance, code and regulations. The Environmental Services Facility is located in Hutchinson.
HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES
Health & Human Services combined provides Public Health and Social Services for McLeod County citizens. Main offices are at the McLeod County Government Center in Glencoe. McLeod County is part of Meeker-McLeod-Sibley Community Health Services.
PUBLIC WORKS
Public Works provides services for Highway, Parks, and Fairgrounds. Highway and Parks facilities are located throughout the County; the County Fairgrounds is located in Hutchinson. The main office is in the Hutchinson Area Transportation Services (HATS) Facility in Hutchinson.
VETERAN SERVICES
Veteran Services provides support, education, and assistance in obtaining benefits for McLeod County's Veteran population. The main office is located in the McLeod County Government Center in Glencoe; satellite office Environmental Services in Hutchinson.
